I would like to replace the cockpit flooring covering which is similar to a rubber or vinyl material stapled and possibly glued over marine plywood.

1. Where can I get enough of same to replace whole cockpit?

2. I have samples of Tek-dek but can’t make my mind up if it looks too plastic and what it would feel like under foot. Anyone used Tek-dek on a large area?

3. Can the forum suggest an alternative covering?

Feels fine underfoot, but gets hot in the sun. But then again, I just tip a few buckets of water over it. If you get down to the south coast, you're welcome to a look over... I think there are some pics of when I did it on http://www.fairlineowners.com

I'm a huge fan of this group of companies and have considered using Tek-Dek in the cockpit as well. I have an issue with locker doors but am trying to find a way round it.

Didn't you mean locked doors, and your inherent inability to deal with these obstructions, when inebriated to the point, when the use of a key becomes irrelevant./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
