We have had the boat in the water all winter and the engines have been run up roughly every 2 weeks, however for various reasons we havent actually taken her over 1500 revs since early December.
I have seen some threads regarding seized turbos and am conscious that running the engines is one thing, exercising the Turbos another.
Whilst the engines were only commissioned in July last year (D4 260s), I wonder if it would be a good idea just to take her out and treat her as usual or whether the turbos need some coaxing.
We have always been meticulous in letting the engines "warm down" at idle after a day out, so I am hoping it will be a case of turn up and go .... weather permitting.
