Coastguard / fire control stations

just seen the news about the fire control being centralised and not working.
maybe the gov will see the costs this is inccuring and not working then leave the coastguard alone and save money.
wounder if its the same IT people / contractors who did the fire control building ???

Steve I have too read the half billion pound waste of money the last government has left us with, plus 4 million a month to maintain a white elephant.

They stand need wrecking any more public services that we actually own, I friend of mine who works for Fire service told me about the plan 2 years ago she said it would not work then yet no one would listen, she sat on her arse for months after her control room shut down and moved to the new place, she was then pensioned off with a big fat ratepayer cheque!!
