Coastal Skipper Shorebased

Hi All,

I've been lurking around here for quite a while now, and have learned much, let me tell you!
Now I have reason to post, so I signed up:

Having been granted a surprise week off, can anyone tell me of a Coastal Skipper Shorebased course running near Glasgow week comm. 29 March? I've done a bit of net research, but am conscious of my lack of facility in this area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to find a listing of courses on given dates before and had to resort to phoning around, try this link

or the RYA site it has all the courses on your area, but not the dates.

Try Bob Johnstone at Maritime Connection at Troon Yacht haven. He does several shore based courses from his portocabin.

coastal skipper shorebased

definitely use scotsail - they seem to be the biggest (and cheapest ) .No connection but i did all my sailing and powerboat courses there (except comp. crew) with them inc If you ever do you practical their ask for Richard Smith to be your instructor - best sailing week ever and he loves to cook!

whatever you do DO NOT go to catima sailing - trust me!!!
