Coastal Rides poor service

I have purchased a couple of items, although small in value, from CR without problem. Prompt delivery and as described. Never had an issue and never had to really use their after sales service. All credit to Tony for coming on here and addressing Gary's issues.

to be fair, Gary would have got exactly the same treatment with or without starting this thread. We always try to help, to err is human though, or so I'm told, we will try and put things right - in fact if any one on here has a problem they can always drop me a pm and I will look into it, I can't comment on things from years ago, but certainly we want to offer a good customer experience and service.

Thanks again Tony for your part in helping to sort this one out, from the outset I've found you more than helpful. I did try calling at the weekend not realising the offices were closed on Saturday and Sunday so took to creating this thread instead. Thanks again for what is a good experience overall and as per my post earlier today, I now recommend Coastal Rides not just for sorting the mistake with the return hose but also, the Ram and Pressure Hose were incredibly good value despite shopping around for them, I couldn't get anywhere near your prices with alternative providers. cheers Gary

I too am glad Gary has has his issue addressed with a sucessful outcome. I wonder that in view of the outcome maybe the title of this thread could be ammended so it is less harsh to CR. We do all make mistakes, and often it is how we deal with those errors that makes us a better or worse businessman to deal with. Having read all of this post, if I thought CR could help me they would get an enqiry.
It is also easy to understand how Gary's frustration led him to open up on here. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, we make decisions sometimes when just maybe we should have put the kettle on, or taken the dog for a walk, after which the annoyance level of many things seems different.

Fully agree with everything you've said so thanks for posting a reply. I did sit on my hands for a few hours and make a statement that I'd wait until Monday when discussing with some friends on Saturday but frustration got the better of me and without a voice to talk to in CR on the day, I acted with my keyboard.

I'll see if I can amend the title to something like "complaint resolved promptly"

oGARYo No facts missing, just merely suggesting that your comment "I'll give you a call rather than continue to debate this one in an open forum" to tony dover would leave all the people reading this thread potentially missing some facts ...that's all I have said, nothing else but please read what people have written & not what you think that they have written. Don't want an argument, I am not one of those Trolls that you think seem to follow you around in other posts, just a newish member on the forum.
