Our spaniel was most happy there -well behaved dogs are welcome -the staff are generally fairly bright youngsters and attentive . It can get slightly noisy on a summer Saturday night but food is good etc . In Summer with doors open doesn’t get too hot . It’s not so cheap for the island but has an atmosphere in evening. If fully booked we would head for the Tapas place by shepherds marina or red duster. For a couple venture down to no12 I think as you are at other end of town towards the front. For lunch when weathers good the ISC is a top choice though. For a real beer try the ale house opposite coast -doesn’t look much from outside but a good quiet pint in micro courtyard towards 5pm is pleasant . Last choice for fishy stuff is Murray’s run by a stalwart RNLI fundraiser who has managed for years .
