If you are prepared to go north a bit the whole trip can be done with only one overnight passage.
Around Cape Wrath to Orkney. Either Westray or Sanday to Fair Isle. Fair Isle to Shetland, Lerwick. Lerwick to Marstein Lt, the south entrance for Bergen, there is an anchorages just inside the islands (at about 190 knautical miles this is the overnight passage). Should GPS fail you have an oil platform near the half way mark for a position check.

Regarding going around the top. If you do not fancy the Pentland Firth go through Scapa Flow with a stop at Stromness (a nice friendly marina). Make sure the tide is with you going in through Hoy Mouth, (otherwise you probably wont get in until it slackens).

It's a visit to relatives as change from west coast and maybe over winter there.
Over wintering in Norway .... be careful, I cant remember why but something is saying the Norwegian tax laws have some thing funny in them about luxury goods in the country for more than 180 days, and the winter can be long :)
This is definitely different to the EU, even before B**t
