Ah ken that Brendan but Romeo Bravo is more appropriate as those are the initials of my boat and I do carry "dangerous goods".

are you coming or what? even though you give the impression of being a sassanach, I'm sure there would be a welcome in the hills for you - might even arrange a dram or three.

Fleet Review - Kilchattan Bay

Right.
Looks like Cliff is to be the Flagship. I've got the deck space, so I'll be the Charles de Gaulle. Sgeir can be the Victory (Shard has spent about as long ashore as her!)
I'll dress the kids in black and send them off in the dinghy to tell everyone, "You can't park there!"
We can then form up into two lines and throw stuff (empty beer tins, full bottles of Schofferhofer) at each other to commemorate Trafalgar. Or maybe a good Scottish battle. The 326th anniversary of the Battle of Drumclog for example which was a much nicer battle since no-one got hurt much. Okay, it wasn't sea-battle, but it's hellish boggy up there. Sorry, I'm wandering a bit here. There's an engraving of that battle in a well-known pub that a good few of us know well... anyone?
I'm only trying to keep this at the top of the page!

I asked Kim to hold it at the top for a few days but seems us in Scotland don't rate the same privileges as those down on the south coast. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

If it were a south coast "muster" it would have been stuck in #1 place for a week or so as happened in the past. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I display posts by time of last posting - so any thread that is active keeps popping to the top instead of disappearing down the pages.
I'm away from early Wed until late Friday so would like to try and get organised asap - any further ideas?

Bar-b-que on the beach near the hotel saturday afternoon early evening, drinkie poos in the hotel after then return to boat(s?) for more drinkie poos (cheaper than hotel) depart Sunday morning ish.

I plan to arrive around lunchtime or shortly after on Saturday and chill out for the afternoon with a bottle or two of "vino collapso" before sending SHMO to start the bbq.

Sounds like a good plan to me. If we stay over we'll have to scoot sharpish on Sunday.
What's the fall-back plan re BBQ, since it's gonna piss down? If there are only a few of us, we could do a "boat-crawl" with snacks / the BBQ stuff at each boat.... is that too complicated?

Right, Cameronke, you should be easy to spot with all that fancy artwork. You can represent the Itlalian Navy. I'll fade into the background of AWBs as usual.
Looks like I'll be be fielding the whole family plus a visiting sprog. No probs, got enough cabins/DVDs/books to keep them happy once the partying starts.
Anyone got a CD of Kenny Rogers' greatest hits? Just thinking about a bit of a singalong for later, that's all...... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
