I hope to spend the next fortnight cruising the Clyde area - particularly the lochs where I would like to sail the full length/breadth and overnight.
Question - Is there a resource where I can get a listing of all the available visitor moorings within the Clyde as well as the Hotels and eating houses along the way- especially the ones with mooring facilities.
Secondly the same questions apply to anchorages.
As my wife (and standby skipper) might prefer terra firma to sailing I want to appear organsied with as much information to hand as possible.
We are familiar with most of the Marinas.
Thanks in advance for all your help and if your local and we're in your area perhaps we could repay you with some hospitality (i.e. a wee dram) on our boat.

The "bible" is the Clyde Cruising Club's Sailing Directions which lists most anchorages, moorings and marinas. They have a website where you can order up. Other possibilities are www.sailscotland.co.uk and www.bluemoment.co.uk, but from experience these tend to be out of date. The last time I looked neither had visitor moorings in Lamlash, despite the local sailing club laying a trot.

Look too on this forum. There was a legthy thread a few weeks ago with many suggestions.

Hi Folks ... Thanks for the info. Bluemoment is excellent - I never heard tell of this site before. Sail Scotland had no information at all "surprisingly" perhaps they are a new site!!
Think I got all I need so thanks again.
