Can any body help me find a clock timer for a 12volt system to run a fan for set periods during a day in order to keep the air moving and to reduce the risk of damp damage and mildew please

Google for 12v timer clock - you'll find a number of suitable options, including a neat Heatmiser central heating clock which runs on 12v.

Readily available - e.g B&Q.

I run mine from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in winter. "Warmest" part of the day when the air should carry the most moisture. Works perfectly - dry boat - no mildew.

I have a sweet little timer that runs on its own internal clock battery but requires 12 v to operate the internal relay to then switch any power from 12 to 240 v. Cost was $55 oz ie 22 quid. Altronics .com.au. good luck olewill
