The textured inflatable floor of my Zodiac Activ V is a pig to clean. It is just grime from the soles of shoes but water and soap barely works at all on the non-slip surface.

Using CIF and a nailbrush, I find can clean about 1 sq of ft in about 20mins. Can anyone recommend a chemical cleaner that will actually work and is quick and safe to use?

The above product is almost certainly based on traffic film remover, about £40 for 20 litres. I haven’t looked, but I expect you can buy it in smaller sizes.

oxalic acid wash and then a wipe down with PVC cleaner from B&Q brings them up like new.
oxalic acid will also dissolve any calcium from barnacles and algae on the underside.
only use a plastic scraper if attacking barnacles,a metal scraper can slice the rubber by accident

+1 for Traffic Film Remover. Also check out magic sponges or magic erasers. Great for removing stains.
it’s worth putting some sort of protective coating on the rib afterwards. 303 Asrospace Protectant is supposed to be very good but can make it slippy so maybe not ideal for floors.

I have never used a Magic Sponge but I see that Force 4 sells a Starebrite version for £4.95. Thankyou.
