I was cleaning off a cradle pad mark from the hull yesterday and got some acetone on the PVC rubbing strake by accident. Its come up bright white, didn't know it could look so nice, now I’ve got a clean bit, I'm going to have to do the lot.
I would think that using Acetone on PVC is a bad idea, any recommendations on a product?

Thanks guys, the magic eraser looks interesting. They seem to vary in price, any particular ones you recommend or are they much of a muchness?

PS the Silky cream cleaner is a really good GRP (and PVC) cleaner and not nearly as abrasive as magic eraser nor Astonish .

Acetone is often used to clean pvc windows. Jif/cif cream cleaner and a sisal polishing brush polishes up any weathered or dirty frame making it look new again.
You can sand pvc if needed and polish it back up.
