How do you clean the fabric on the the Dubarry yacht (Navy Nubuck) new type slip on shoe? It is not clear from the Dubarry website.

Did I just see "clean" and "deck shoe" in the same sentence? The only place you will see clean deck shoes, Barbour Jackets, Land Rovers and other things designed o be used is attached to people who are not using them in they manner they were intended. IMHO.

What about in shops when being purchased. Mine were clean then.

And they go in the washing machine sometimes when SWMBO complains. Not sure they are clean when they come out but at least she stops complaining about the shoes.

Don't bother - just bin them and buy some decent deckies ! Bought one pair once as they were reputedly such good deck shoes - wrong, lasted barely 6 months when the stitching seriously failed on both shoes. I get 2 years continuous use from Quayside Sydney, before they reach Antifouling only status. Also certain Apache Moose and Orca Bay are the same thing, and a pair of Apache Moose Banff I bought last May were on their last legs by December.

I get 3 years plus out of mine & wear them all the time for normal day use, extremely comfortable & hard wearing. fantastic shoes
