Can anyone help here for advice

I had a new canvas canopy hood fitted to my boat earlier this year. Since winter is soon approaching I expect I will need to clean it during spring time to get it looking good again.

What is the best method to clean it with. People have told me to use Patio Magic but I am concerned this might affect the canvas, it’s stitching and affect the clear plastic windows?

Patio magic is commonly used - to get green grot off boats including canvas. Should be fine, but if your fabrics are not standard - then you might want to test an inconspicuous area.

I use Renovo canvas cleaner, use a bucket and scrubbing brush, rinse with hose. Don’t use a pressure washer, I found it can be too aggressive and can damage the canvas. If there are any green areas, sometimes around the edges I use patio magic, just leave it for a day or two. Then apply waterproof to the roof using fabsil. This works for me. Once dry I clean the windows with pledge furniture polish, never had any adverse effects on the windows.

Yes would be careful re plastic windows and using the Patio magic- if you are taking the canvas off the frame and taking home to clean on patio table say then Renovo as used for car soft tops is another option plus a reproofing by fabsil gold say or Renovo.
