"Check that the beer is actually aboard"

I have a 'Master at Arms' for this. I think he understands that he would be left clinging to a buoy 'till we returned with the beer if there was a failure to carry out this simple duty.

If he managed to bring my red wine I'd even overule the helm and leave him the dinghy (no oars tho')..... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh its all been waterproofed now - not like the old days anymore - floodless plain - but the picture was taken a bit further north.

Indeed
Bonus for state of tide?

I'll go for 2hr before HW......looking at the base of the pole I would say the tide is still flooding and a fair bit below the HW crud on the pole.

Re: Claymore\'s ColRegs Caption Competition

Faded memories stir.... and that's not sea water! I t'ink I can just make out the fragrant shores of Balmaha Bay on the right middle-ground, with the characteristic shape of Ben Lomond behind. The howff on the left end of the island has known a good few pagan parties, with some determined Doch 'n Doris'ing by a wheen o' Cheuchters, and I reckon that this place is a bit of 'Ballochs'!

Oh, and it's rather a wide-angle lens that's been used.....
Can I claim a major prize?
