Re: five hundred and eeeeeighty ...

Having played several of the many links of the same game, I think there are two versions. In one it's difficult to score high 300's. In the other high 500's are the limit

Tried it?

After 110 attempts managed to get a top score of 68.

The first 50 tries, I kept getting a zero/OK box. In fact I thought the game was to see how many times the penguin could nut butt you!

I think I'll stick to sailing<s>

Re: Tried it?

What you need is a 15 year old. In between setting the video to record your favourite programs, they can show you how to whomp penguins into the stratosphere.

So far I can just keep pace with the kids, but it won't be long now <s>

Is no one sparing a thought for the poor wee penguin? I asked my colleague to make sure to tell me if my playing was getting on her nerves. Her reply? Yes half an hour ago. By that time I'd reached 306. I was just learning to late slice the swing so as to get a good lateral head contact for a smooth but powerful slide...... Now I shall never know what pinnacle of sporting achievement I might have reached. Oh well back to work then....... Pity that playing without sound is not half as much fun.

I shouldn't worry about the penquin, it seems happy enough to keep coming back round for more.

I've found that it makes a difference which computer I use - kids PC at home with real mouse works better than laptop in office with touch-pad. Either that, or the snow conditions are different today, because the little blighter isn't sliding so far.

Re: Tried it?
