I hung around the bay this weekend due to work commitments.

Glad I did the classic boat show saturday was excellent despite being noisy.

These guys certainly take pride in their boats


Here's some photo's. Anyone recognise themselves. Looks like they,ve lifted the speeding restrictions around the pontoons. Should make things a bit more exciting /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes, went over on Saturday and had to moor up in the visitors graving dock, the main pontoons were already full (think you were on the end ?). Had some friends visiting with us so didn't stop for long, it was long enough to see that straight through exhausted american lake boat though (photo 4), which sounded *superb*.

Popped back over in the evening for some grub, a few of the classic boats were moored up for the night so we had a look at them, surprised at just how tiny some of them were.

Felt sorry for those moored along the pontoons though, the wakes some of them created were ridiculous. Must've been very uncomfortable to be sat there.
