Classic boat dreamin anyone

nice choice the Bertram 31 as the Pisa Pegasus,
last I saw one of the 21 Pegasus was in Vibo Marina in 2004, a fabolous Motor Yacht, may be a bit undershadowed by the Akhir which came after it, and still one of the best looking yachts of all time especially the S series
as for the Bertram that is a boat that never dies too, as are the old Hatteras too altough in bigger sizes

Did they ever sell it? they were hawking it around the boatshow for what seemed like ages, I recall it being over £300k at first.

Don't know how many they have sold but I think there were only a few originals built in the 60s,70s so very rare.

Yes, some in wood with shafts, but most plastic with outdrive devil works.

I know of a few, Le Scarron is the worlds only expert on Levi boats.

As I said a really lovely looking boat and I'm sure a real crowd pleaser. Certainly caught my attention, but those are eye watering prices AFAIC for what you get. Something for the connoisseur who can appreciate it's finer points and history rather than me who just likes the "eye candy" of such a boat.
