Chuckaduck goes to the not so wild West ( minster )

This Sunday the tide and weather is good for a trip so having prepared provisions we set off on our trip

Seems quiet though !!

soon we are under way

Still quiet ? only a few raggies and Robos

Through Putney and fulham we go past Wandsworth and onto the plane and it is not long before we near Westminster

Even the pleasure cruisers are thin on the water !

closer to parliament and the wheel looms

Eerily Quiet Is this a Ghost Town ?

Nearer the wheel Whats this ? Another Boat ?

Up we go and even Parliament is empty not even mr Plod is about

Time to head back

And finally some action at the heliport

Battersea looms but where is every one ?

We carry on back to Isleworth with a disaster looming but that story is for another thread see my distaster threads

The main thing that amazed me was here we are on a hot summers sunday when the river should be teeming with people out there and nichts

Must be all about the timing. I went from South Dock up to Fulham and back on Friday last week and spent most of the trip boat dodging. Sundays are usually pretty quiet til around 11 and then pick up. Maybe you were just lucky!

The helicopter's come a long way - registered in Aruba....... couldn't be an Abramovich connection could it - his fixed wing aircraft are registered there.
