Choosing two stroke oil for outboard

IMHO the stuff I use in my strimmer is suitable for the 10 years+ Honda 2.3hp that I attach to my tender. No problems so far.

Oops, brain slip! I was thinking of the ancient Yamaha in my garage ?

I am suspicious of the statement that the Westway oil in question is TC-W3®

It does not appear on NMMA's list of TC-W3® certified oils

You are correct here. Since my original post I have contacted the manufacturer who replied saying that their TCW3 oils haven't been tested and certified, just that they have been blended to exceed TCW3.

For the amount of oil I use (not much), I think I'll go with the Quicksilver oil.
