Chinese snap davits kit

I'm looking at the polymarine version. They have a sterling rep when it comes to all things PVC and Hyperlon and theirs are ~£230 which is a bit more palatable.

Personally I'm more concerned about the quality of the PVC rubber
I’ve not noticed a difference with the rubber over other pads I’ve had in the past. But it is only the first season so, again time will tell I suppose. If any catastrophic failures were to happen or have happened in the past, you’d have thought that we’d have heard about them.

Let me put it this way. I have recently replaced a tender that is a couple decades old, gets very heavy use and is bullet proof. Hand on heart I havent had to pump her up in two seasons. So why replace her? Every rubber part on her keeps coming off no matter how often I glue them back on they fall off within a couple weeks. They dont look perished, they look just fine. Strong too. But they're leaching something or other that makes the glue come off. 2 part polymarine adhesive too, so its not the glue. Will yours last the tender's life? Who knows. But if they dont goodluck trying to glues something else over where they were. Tried that too. Easier just to buy another tender.

Well if you’ve had it for two decades then I’ll be happy with half that. I’m presuming that you have cheap rubber parts then if they keep falling off ?

No. they were great. they lasted two decades. Who is to say yours will last the length of the tender lifespan.
