yep provided that you take down the mast (it won't be there after wednesday anyway) and put in several reefs in the ensign, it think you'll be fine. Except, er, the sea will be frozen solid, damnit.

Maybe we could modify JeremyF's Bav to powerboat conversion of last year into an icebreaker?

diificult to see where you're going with 159% cloud cover otherwise I'd be up for a bit of laser sailing!

Does this mean that there will be vacum.. if so no hot air and the end to Scuttlebut.. what a shame...

Presumably this will be the first case of winds in a vacum too.... will it suck our sails out the wrong way??

F**k knows. I'm thoroughly confused, as usual. Looking out of my orifice window it seems to be a normal beautiful (now we're back at work) sort of day. Except for the bit of pressure differential bloating, to which I have already alluded.

This is an interesting issue, how will changes in pressure affect flatulence?
Argument 1: Lower pressure = more as higher internal pressure seeks to escape
Argument 2: Higher external pressure squeezes it out = more

help .. is it true that whatever happens we are doomed to higher flatulence levels?

Re: Beware normal

mmm it's when things look normal one must be extra careful.. normality is just a figment of our imaginations trying to create stability in chaos..

mmm but if the flatulence increases this will increase the pressure and (although the atmosphere may be lethal) at least it wont be a vacum any longer.. Also flatulence being hot.. well at least warmish should enable Scuttlebut to survive..

Often resulting from dangerously low levels of alcohol I find.

Re:You mthink thats bad...?

Brings to mind the Monty Python / Secret Policemen Sketch...
