Anyone sailing from Portsmouth this bank holiday weekend, back on Sunday or Monday?
Do weened to book the berth at Cherbourg marina?
We are debating to leave early on Friday morning, aiming for Bembridge at 0400, I hope weather will be kind.

I don't think Cherbourg take advanced bookings. Just turn up and find yourself a berth. The pontoons nearest the capitainerie are now visitors berths and yachts raft up as necessary there if the visitors finger berths are full. If all else fails raft up on the waiting pontoon in the middle near the entrance and dinghy across to the marina potoons.

We’re in Cherbourg now, loads of space
The marina office is open from 8am to 11pm.
Police come to the marina at 9am and 6pm each day to stamp passports
