It has taken a while, but the restaurant has confirmed the booking for the 22nd September and sent me the menu. As usual, we have to commit to a single starter, main and dessert for all. I'm guessing most will prefer the haddock starter. On the presumption that few will want fish then more fish, I'm going to suggest the chicken for main. (Coalfish is pollock, I think - or something very similar).
Can people state their preferences for dessert please?
The price of €31 will be rounded up to €35 to allow for a tip, and collected on the night - CASH ONLY! Note that the price includes an aperitif (kir au vin blanc = blackcurrant liqueur and white wine) plus wine with the meal - I think they allow half a bottle of wine per head.

Seen in wet fish shops as Coley. Coalfish are very similar to pollack, and taste just as good!
