can anyone recomend a good extension for my beneteue 35s5 one with asymetrecol handle i have found spinlock version but at 120 pounds sounds a bit dear

If you sit on the seat and can reach the tiller with one foot, a length of spare cord to pull with and a toe to push with works okay...

i have always used a home made extension. (I race a lot)
You need a universal joint and a bit of All tube with across piece glued into the end. No probs.
The universal joint has a flat plate screwed to the top of the tiller with a screw mounted from the middle vertically. A U shaped piece of SS has a hole in the bottom of the U for the previously mention screw with a lock nut and washer between the plate and the U. Another screw goes through the legs of the U and through the tubing. olewill

Suitable alloy tube or dowel.
2 brass U brackets and screws.
1 pipe clip to fit above tube or dowel.

1 U bracket bend to form loop on end of dowel / tube and fix with nut+bolt right through, or screws.
2nd U bracket passed through this and then screwed to tiller top.
Pipe clip screwed to tiller top suitable to clip dowel / tube to when not needed.
Handle can be plastic handle from garden trowel, a hard rubber ball or similar.
Total cost ? Less than a tenner.
