...Presumably this is the remains of the one that caught fire at Port Solent? What a mess. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif Still - a packet of Isopon and a bit of a scrub ought to sort it out /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Just a thought but it seems only the deck moulding is damaged and the hull seems largely undamaged. Maybe worth asking Sunseeker whether they've still got the deck mould for the P400 and whether they'd do a one-off lay up or even sell the mould. Got to be better than trying to do a massive grp repair on whats left
Temting project for somebody though

I agree tis definitely worht asking. But afaik they chainsaw the moulds up as soon as the last boat is made. Fairline do for sure. Cost/benefit of saving them just aint worth it

Pity, that means we'll have to find another written off P400 with hull damage and do a cut and shut job
Anybody grounded a P400 lately?

Would make a nice project for MBY to undertake. Monthly updates and all that. They can then raffle it off for charity

I viewed this boat in Port Solent, Feb 2003. Did'nt like the big davits on the back, and it was in a bit of a state. Owner still wanted 135K for it though. Seemed to be a med boat...spanish labels on all ancillaries and continental mains sockets throughout as I recall.

I can provide the 'before' pictures if your interested...
