Cant comment on the type of paddle board to buy as I have a Red Paddle Co board which are at the higher cost end. However I will say you won't regret getting a paddle board. They are great exercise but equally relaxing if you want to use them to chill. Last weekend I paddled against the tide in Newtown up to Shalfleet Quay for a bit of exercise and then laid on the board and let the tide take me back to the boat in the searing sun. Bliss!!!
by way of a coincidence our neighbours at Mercury arrived on Saturday with a trolley with 2 brand new paddleboards. They had only just bought them and it was the first time in using them, so I watched with interest. As a result I have just ordered the identical board as them, a Two Bare Feet Entradia 12 (12'0"x 33'x 6") Inflatable SUP Starter Pack and a Sevylor electric pump!
still thinking of getting a little kayak as well to stick on the wheelhouse roof...
If poss, could your first attempt be in Yarmouth? So I can come an point and laugh?

That looks a really nice board.
Enjoy and kneel initially. Oh and its highly likely you will fall in, so embrace it!
James, best launch around the back of the harbour under the bridge. I got gissled at by the Management for paddling in the Harbour dontchaknow! Lovely paddle up the creek mind youthat's exactly where it will be made... but probably from the beach... don't worry, I will let you know when!

I should be in Yarmuff about 9am supporting Helen and her walking friends as they attempt to walk round the Island within 24 hours.
We enjoyed it enough to follow other recommendations here and I too have just ordered two boards from Two Bare Feet although I went for the Sport Air XL and the Deluxe Pack as this included accessories such as kayak seat if we want to use them in this way. They will be delivered tomorrow.
:
Did you still want the Rydlyme?

Not really - I'd use it for an annual service maybe.
not in Yarmuff this weekend... for a change.![]()
I'm going to order a board from Two Bare Feet today and I quite like the look of the Sport Air XL design, but it's £50 more than the Entradia and it just looks like the same board. Do you know if there is a difference (the only things I can spot on the website pic appear to be 4 x D rings on the top of the board presumably for the Kayak seat, but then the Entradia also comes with a Kayak seat). Tried ringing them but no answer.........
Have you used yours yet?
