More in then when I went there. Hope you had no further problems with obstreperous French charterers.
He may have had full sight in one eye, which makes judging distances tricky.

Can't comment on his sight , but for us to have any chance to be over his chain he would had have to have out 90 mts of chain and as it left his bow it would had to have turned 90 d to port as we was both tie back to the bank .
As it turned out he had about 14 mts of chain which stop not much more from the front of his boat , but hey that all the fun of sailing , it didn't upset our day , if any thing it made it more interesting as we sat there eating our lunch we was taken bets , how many seconds it was going to take before his anchor appeared .
