charge controller..

Nothing wrong i using a time switch to prevent overcharging.

Sone time a go I got some of these to keep the batteries of my classic cars alive when not in use and I have had batteries keep going for 8 to 10 years. I currently have my sealed boat batteries on charge for about 4 years and still OK. They are not like full 3 stage chargers but just switch off when the battery voltage get to 14 V and back on when the voltage drops to about 13.5 V. It also reduces the water usage so reduces the need to keep topping the batteries up.

But we digress.

The one you show is the solar regulator. The one I am also interested in is the splitter module No M102 and M102M.

If these use MOSFET they are what I am looking for.

Sorry, Here is the correct product data sheet. Unfortunately it doesn't say exactly what is in the box /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. Still, very likely to be MOSFET. With 10 amp through an uncooled case that small, it can hardly be diodes. 20 amp rating is for the same unit mounted on a heat sink.
