The problem with working in boating?
I also work in IT, but on the south coast ... I spend as much of my spare time as possible on the water. I enjoy most of the IT work (there are always down sides!) but would like to spend all my time on the water. The problem with working on the water can be that as it is your job, you want to go somewhere else for recreation.... That was the problem I had when dinghy instructing - I didn't want to Club race at the weekend... I gave up the instructing then cos I enjoyed the racing more than the instructing.
