CEVNI book

The RYA CEVNI book has a cover photo of a barge displaying a yellow diamond signal.

But nowhere in the book is a description of this signal !

Anyone able to explain it?

A yellow diamond normally means passage allowed in both directions and would be seen on a bridge for example. Not sure about on a barge though.

The bridge idea is correct, but as you say - on a barge? And it's not just one diamond either....

The plot thickens.

Even the RYA couldn't answer when I asked them last year - and that's the front cover of their book that should explain them all!
