Cetrek probs

Just received my cetrek 757 with cestar 930 gps, back from repair, still with the same probs.
Display says "fix not received"
I sent off the unit (618 distribution box + gps antenna)
All they could find was one of the gps parameters set wrong, but that was probably me trying various things to get it to work. I refitted it with a new gps antenna lead, can't think of what to try next. Am I missing something ?

You are not the only one to have repair difficulties with Cetrek repairs! Cetrek's maintenance has been third party for some time, so no direct link to the manufacturer.

I use Jim Staig (electronics engineer) of MEI, who seems to know how to push the third party. Costs a bit more, but seems to work. Based in Port Solent, he covers the South coast and more - 02392 326 366, or try 07885 594 815 (I think this is his correct mobile....)
