Central locking system?

Can you get a central locking system and alarm for a boat or house which works on the same principal as cars?

I find the Microscan alarm on my car reliable and its connected to the central locking. The equipment's all available, door locks and so on, for 12 volt operation so you could install it on a boat.

I wouldn't bother with the motion detector though.

It detects spiders in the car but it doesn't zap them so you may get plenty of call outs to turn your alarm off.
