I'd like to install radiators on my boat, running from the hot water system, which is heated from raw water cooled engine or an electric immersion heater. has anybody done this, what do I need?

yes a few years ago i fitted heating sourced from an old ambulance, it fits in to the bypass coolant lines and you'll need a 12v supply to operate the fan. don't try and fit domestic rads as you'll probably find that the pump isn't up to moving quantities of water over long distances. likewise if you fit multiple heaters/matrix's you may need a booster pump to generate flow.
once it's all set and working it's good.

Katoema uses a Webesto as the heating source, to feed radiators with its own hot water. The water is from a seperate closed system with header tank, along with the appropriate pump. Four large finned radiators heat the vessel upto 30Deg C. by the operation of a normal bulkhead mounted thermostat.

I converted a Volvo MD2 to fresh water cooling & used an extra engine drive pump Via 15mm coppoer pipe to 2 B&Q
radiators with a header tank. Simple, cheap & it worked well.
