I have a Westerly Centaur that has in the cabin a number of sliding cupboard doors that slide in a pair of double channel black PVC extrusions top and bottom of each door, I wish to replace these as some are a bit the worse for ware. My question is does anyone know a source for extrusions like this in modest quantities?

I stock the type of extrusion you are looking for & will sell small quantities. As for the dimensions for a Westerley I don't know if we have the right stuff but we are happy to help. I know that this is not supposed to be an advertising medium so please excuse me Kim if I am breaking any rules.

They should be available from any decent D-I-Y store. They are also available in aluminum and in brass. Plastic is better.
If you make the upper runners deeper than the bottom ones you'll be able to lift the sliding panels out for cleaning the 'lockers'. Pity Westerly didn't do so.

A lot of builders don't make them lift out or they make them JUSt able to be lifted out.

Reason? To stop the locker contents spilling if you get knocked over.

This twin channel plastic is available in a deep (for the top) and shallow (for the bottom) heights to enable lifting out.

There were racks of the stuff in black, brown, fake teak and beige last ime I looked in B & Q
