Might or might not. 1995 is before the CE/RCD system became mandatory, but some builders started early. Doubt if Barbican was one.....

No as pre 1997 and I don't think they did an RCD compliant version later. RCD killed off a lot of cottage industry yacht building. Nothing to worry about if you are buying in the UK or the boats is in the EU and staying there. Only becomes an issue if sold between EU and UK (either way)

No CE number on my boat registered in 1995 as pre dates it. There may be a HIN, hull identification number, depending on the builder, possibly an engine number on the hardware. If on UK Part One register the registered number should be on a plate inside, in the days of wooden boats it had to be carved in to the main beam.

Late response i know, but.....I have a 1995 built barbican 30 too with a lot of back up paperwork from original builder. I will look out any detail on that CE wise but don't expect there will be specific mention as pre 1997 CE start up

Hi Quiet Piper and thanks for the reply. Have since gathered there is probably no CE issue as you say, as mine is 1995 also.
