Hi Everyone,
I have an oldish CAV water separator on my fuel line.
It has a plastic transparent bowl with a tap at the base,
On disassembly for cleaning the bowl and a conical plastic insert fell into a container with the fuel contents.
On reassembly I can't work out if the conical inset should fit into the bowl "peak" up or "peak" down if you see what I mean. It seems to fit either way up.
Also there doesn't seem to be any o rings or gaskets which I was expecting.
The unit has been working fine but I was cleaning out the fuel tank so I thought I should de mank the separator .
Any advice appreciated
