I went to see my local dealer today and was not impressed, can some one recommend where to get Caterpillar spares from?

On the other hand I went to see my local Zinc anodes supplier, he is an old boy and done this work all his life.
he is knowledgeable and helpful prices are reasonable considering my Engine needs six anodes.

You can get most oil and fuel filters in Fleetguard or Baldwin , I heard today that the American giant Parker filtration have boughtbout Baldwin so that name may well disappear.
To be fair I don’t think Caterpilar filters are that expensive when you compare them to VP

Try In Line Filters for CAT filters by Baldwin or Fleetguard. They are less expensive than Finnings. I am guessing that your local anodes guy is Zincsmart. Great value. Other parts you may be stuck with Finnings unless they are fairly expensive (eg: raw water pumps) when it may well be worth importing from USA.
