Oh I don’t think think it’s on purpose I just don’t think it’s a priority to make them stronger. They last the first owner very well and no doubt many last much longer. My concern I think is just that I can see why they would fail more easily than a mono, and watching Parlay showed that in detail.Understood. I'm just jealous.
My previous powercat was a Fountaine Pajot 2003 build and is still in super condition - I was on board only last week. It's probably true that longevity is not a priority for mass produced cats intended for the charter market, such as my current Leopard, but I can't imagine they're deliberately building in obsolescence, or compromising on safety.
I doubt I’m right, and I imagine it’s partly jealousy too I guess I should have chosen better/richer parents!
