Good link. Thank you for that. It seems to confirm that we no longer need to worry too much about excessive attention from the EU Sandwich Police.

As well as the key Article 6 'not unloaded and . . . intended for consumption by the crew and passengers' Sandwich Police exemption, I see there is also an Article 7 'part of passengers’ personal luggage . . . intended for personal consumption or use' exemption. Rather wonderfully, Annex 1, Part 2 provides that that exemption does not apply to "frogs’ legs (CN code 0208 90 70 )". I wonder which nation felt the need to have that particular exclusion-from-an-exemption clause negotiated into an EU regulation? 🐸
