Carli goes on sale

Re: Carli goes on sale/Buying Birchwood 33

Must admit to having been glad I had two engines on several occasions with Unwinder but then the law of averages says that you will have twice as many engine failures with two engines, so not sure you are really any better off - manoeuvrability excluded.

Re: Carli goes on sale/Buying Birchwood 33

Quite right Ian a wing engine isnt like having twin engines, I tend to refer to it as having one and a half engines.

From what I have seen of No Regrets, it seems to respond better to one engine and a rudder than to one and a half engines but can see that having the wing engine could still be useful. It could always be set up to double as a generator.

Yes indeedy...

There is a nice drilled and threaded flange on the front crankshaft, and plenty of space too.

So many of em that Bray marine sales will have to fit stair lifts down onto the pontoon for when all the potential buyers turn up.
Wait six months and I might bag a bargain /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
