There was ice around the moorings at CYC over the past two days, but none today. Louise got there early yesterday and said it was solid, about 1/2 inch thick near the shore. When I got down there, the waves from the water taxis had broken it all up, but there were still big sheets of it, stretching about 30 yards off shore, creaking and crackling.
Tigger still went in for his swim. It made me shiver watching him, there's not an ounce of fat on him and he was shaking like a leaf when he came out.

The Cumberland Basin in Bristol harbour was already frozen over at 7pm tonight.

Glad i'm here at home warm and cosy..............only down side is that Holby bloody City is all that os on the box /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
