Canvaswork on the Orwell

Sail and Cover at Woolverstone, they do a good job, but others have commented that they may be a bit expensive.

Will be needing new cockpit cover and sail cover soon :(

Any recommendations for anywhere on the Orwell?

Many thanks.
S & C are expensive & only single sew hood windows.
suggest you contact Paul Gray @ Dolphin for a first class job.
Paul is @ Fox`s frequently so he could drop in to see you

Paul Gray was recommended to me, as well, by the people at Fambridge. Waiting for him to visit the boat to measure up and confirm prices etc. I think he's v busy at the moment, which probably means he's good!! Dolphin will give you an estimate for what you want over the phone, if that helps.

+1 for Paul Gray at Dolphin.
My new sprayhood and cockpit cover are being fitted tomorrow.

Great bunch at Dolphin.

Just had Dolphin fit new spray hood superb work.

Made out of Maxweather 80 and I upgraded the windows to Strataglass CrystalClear 20/20 which is as clear as its name suggests.

my stratoglas is now over 10 yrs old & still clear, the original stitching is now shot as is the fabric. I have a provisional order placed but will wait until later in the season for the new one made from Maxweather 80,stratoglas & upgraded twine all to the original patterns Paul took. i think my hood was his first

How did the strataglass cope win being folded? I was warned to be careful with it.

I used Paul Gray at Dolphin sails and was very impressed. He modified a sprayhood that I got from eBay and then made a stack pack and dodgers. I will try to upload some photo's. They take time in ensuring that the hood matches the boat and doesn't end up looking like something from the 1920s ? ...unless the boat is from the 20's of course..
