Canopy Cleaner

What are you all using for cleaning the blue canopy fabric?

Fairy power spray, £3.00 for 500ml in Wilco. Especially good for shifting that green algae. I've been using it for years on my canopy, works a treat.

Diluted Patio Magic.......just paint on and leave for 2-3 months, and all the algae will have disappeared ?

Don't use anything with a detergent in it. It'll destroy the waterproofing and is almost impossible to rinse out completely. I don't know about boat canvas, but I've known people destroy tents that way,

Can anyone tell me what the active ingredient is, please, so I don't accidentally use a patio cleaner that is too harsh?

This is probably the stuff you need. Their cleaners and coloured reproofers give good results.

I don;t know whether my. covers are Sunbrella, Is there any way I could tell?

Ask Kayospruce, if you contact them; probably not only specifically for that brand but they will have various in stock I'm sure.
Very helpful company. If you should visit them at Segensworth they often have end of roll and other reduced price items that you may suddenly require like I used to!!
