Canopy alterations

Subject to sea trial etc I'm hoping to complete on a boat.

The boat in question ( sportscruiser) needs a new canopy. The boat has a radar arch and the existing canopy pases underneath the arch and isn't attached to it

I'd like the new canopy to be attached to the arch, which I know means fitting tracks to the arch and modifying the existing framework.

My question is: does anyone know of a company ( local to Weymouth) that could carry out this sort of work ??

I have recently bought a boat in Weymouth marina and JD Yachts have organised some upholstery and cover works with someone local.
I can find out who they are and let you know.
Am hoping to be back in Weymouth tues/weds for a few days seeing as the winds are backing off so if you are about and fancy a brew give me a shout

OK thanks I'll give them a call, I know there's a company down here called Dorset trimming but I think they only make canopies and won't be able to do the alterations to framework/radar arch

Hi tetleys, I'll also give jd a call. I haven't got the boat yet, I've just given up my mooring on the north quay pontoons and I'm moving onto the dean & readyhoff marina. I went down yesterday and choose berth e60, so once I'm moved in I'll take you up on a cuppa!
