I'm trying to dub some music on to it. Never had any trouble with the panasonic that got knicked. Everything seems to come up on the screen like (DUB) Then after I select (Mix) Or whatever. And get nowt.

The boaty theme is. I'm trying to record. The Epic Voyages Of LJS Blue Nun Fisher and Mucky Farter.

Are you using some software on a PC to try to do this or are you trying to do it just to the camera?
I use some digital editing software which makes it quite easy - if you want I'll look tonight at what it is.

Hmmm
Maybe its worth a glance at the destructions?
I bought some software called Dazzle from PC World which makes it all fairly straightforward - I didn't think I could do it straight from the television.

I always used the TV and vidio with the last camera. Wish I still had it. Obviosly you can get a better result with computer, but looks mind blowingly difficult. Not helped by the fact that I have three vidio editing probrams, some of which seem to work and others that cant even tell that the caera is plugged in. Trouble is, everything sems to wrk right on the tv. All the right words come up in menu. It should be easy. Press Pause then dub then press pause again and start music/speeking.

Cant see any need for another lead. Everything else works, just not DUBBING from the camera mike. The instructions tell you how to do it. Theres two channels, just lie old camera. One for normal sound. Then another for other sound music/comentary/etc. Then you can switch between or have both sounds on and alter each volume.
