Is anyone here going to this show this week/weekend?

Is there the equivalent of the SBS used boat show on anywhere around there at the same time? I've seen nothing advertised?

I'll get one soon.......

For 2nd hand boats - not to my knowledge and v unlikely: the cannes boat show requires temporary expulsion of loads of boats from their cannes moorings, so no space in nearby marinas at all, so no chance of any other other shows at the same time. Note that quite a few one-off boats are bulled up and repainted for the show and sold as "new" at cannes anyway. The la napoule 2nd hand boat show is around easter, but a bit of a sorry affair with v shagged boats at mad prices, er not that other 2nd hand shows are v much different...

If you are going to the show, go to sunseeker and snort that they seem to only have 1 generator which is bit lightweight innit? Then go to MAN and ask why the sodding engines don't have gold rocker covers in real life and it 's a swiz really, innnit? then proceed to Neat (prononce Nay-At) for lunch just a short distance from the concrete exhibition centre. There, that's saved me going.

What no gold rocker boxes! Swines! remove those engines immediately! Hanging too good for em' /forums/images/icons/mad.gif

Well, if it's a simple bit of complaining, I should be an able stand in.

Don't know the Neat, where is it? (I like the Sports Bar on the old market place (earty and SWWNBO hates it)

To complete the takeoff which Rose should I order?

I'll get one soon.......

Neat is a restaurant relatively new, run by Richard Neat of UK fame er can't remeber which restaurantr might have been pied a terre in charlotte street. First 2-star michelin won by a brit. You go for lunch, when you get ace food nice and cheap. For the location, park at the underground port parking at the west end of the croisette, and walk upstairs. Now, go to the NE corner of the port on the Croisette exactly where you book ferry trips to the islands, and look back inland, north, over the street, and it's visible from there, no, not macdonalds, to the east of there, cross the double carriageway anyway and turn east, finding the road immediately behind the croisette. Dark purple blinds, and dark purple theme. You will save a ton of money by going to the sunseeker place first and then wangling lunch from one of the salesppeople, and even more by not going to the show at all and buying your own lunch.

All rosé is drinkable. Make it clear that you aren't American by asking for "Le moins cher!" with a big smile.

Neat\'s old restaurant

Will follow instructions precisely.

Yes, you're right . If it's killing you , yes, he used to run Pied a Terre in Charlotte Street , although it's no good anymore. Not sure if he still has any interest. I think he's married to a Francaise , which explains why he is where he is. Wsa a screaming Man Utd fan , which questions taste.

Respected restaurant by the locals , even my Mother-in-Law.

Will ensure that both Sunseeker and MAN are fully aware of your views -and address - for all libel cases.

I'll get one soon.......
