As title!
<snip>where would a real cheapskate go for a worthwhile freebie view on foot ?
Thank you so very very much, we will no doubt be huddled round the 13" Black and white 405 line TV in the front room of the only house with TV in our favela. To whichever of his friends has the biggest 4K OLED TV and fridge full of beer![]()
Great, thanks Chris, that will make things a lot easier! Booked in over Xmas, can't get out new Years day, so had decided to stay for the fireworks.
But, if we can't see them, may as well come home early!
the force 0.6 was simply no barrier to our Fairline...
.
Just fixed that F number for you !
Can you please hurry back and fill that gap, with that glassfibre house brick of yours, it was rather windy when walking past your mooring yesterday .
Appropriate NTM:I realise they need to shut the river where the fireworks barges are located but what is the closest a boat can get actually to them before being turned away? If I go to watch the fireworks, I would be cruising down river to London from Mortlake so any closures on that part of the river is what I need to know.
Hi Chris
I'm gutted, not going to make it to the boat tomorrow as I've been in bed with the lurgy since Boxing Day!
Hope you are enjoying your city break despite the weather!
Richard
