Can you recommend a comprehensive maintenance book?

Hi all,

I am new to the forum and have found so much useful info, thanks!

Just wanted to know if anyone can recommend a very comprehensive maintenance book for yachts. I have just bought my first, a snapdraggon 747 and need to know all the items that will need attention from the water tank to the stern gland!

Nigel Calder is supposed to be the guru.

Boat Owners Mechanical and Electrical Manual is probably your best bet.

Agreed, his book is the most useful single volume on repain and maintenace.

Make sure you get the latest edition (3rd I think, buy my copy is not to hand)
