Whats my chaneces of a warranty claim then?

Check to see what it's spec was. If it was supposed to be 316 stainless then who ever supplied it should be accountable.

Its supposed to be Jeanneau long life propshaft material.

Instead it seems to be, [--word removed--] we've run out of stainless, nip down the scrappie in the works 2CV for a bit of inch bar Gaston.

french manufacturer must have known the boat was for an englishman (unable to accept the results at trafalger and waterloo) and defocates on anything english. as the french (old enemy) often do.
remember english beef ?. well i refused to use their letters despite ending up with two ancle biters

the 1 1/4" one i had made in ipswich [ Davey engineering ] 4 yrs ago is still ok

the prop has corrosion,dear dear corrosion, requiring a replacement, a dear dear replacement.

I will take your advice an get a 1.25 inch device. This will last about 30 years at the current rate of corrosion, by shaving off a bit every year.


Depth sounder not required. Hit putty, open wine.Simple.
